Russell Motor Cars: 1910
In 1910 Russell introduced all new models,  the Model R "30" and the Knight engined Models "22" and "38".  In 1909 Russell had purchased the Canadian rights for the Knight Sleeve Valve motor, after going to England to study the Royal Auto Club's rigorous testing of the Daimler built Knight engines.  For 1910, Russell imported complete Daimler built Knight engines for the Model "22" and "38" cars.  The Knight engined cars featured standard front doors, possibly the first in North America  (the driver's side "door" was fake).  Rushmore headlights with generator or Prestolite tank were offered.
