Russell Motor Cars: 1906 |
During 1906 Russell phased
out the Model A (priced at $1300) and introduced two new
models: the Model B and the Model C. CCM aimed to
build 140 cars for 1906, mostly Model Bs. It is
believed that actual production was near that number. |

A RUSSELL VIDEO
In recent years the oldest known
surviving Russell, has been brought back to life after
many years of inactivity. Below is a video
of the 1906 Russell Model B driving for the first time. |
![]() This
2-cylinder Runabout Model B was the 25th
car licensed in New Brunswick. E. Hutchinson
of Douglastown first owned it. In the 1950s,
it was badly damaged by a fire and was later rebuilt
by J. Melvin Louden of Edmundston. Louden
opened a car museum in 1956 and donated his
collection to the province in 1976. (Antique
Automobile Museum, Edmundston,
