It's been a busy day in Halifax. The Findlays took care of a few last minute details before meeting up with John Nicol in Halifax. John had arrived yesterday by Via Rail.
This afternoon provided an opportunity for some Halifax sightseeing, including visits to the historic Citadel and beautiful Peggy's Cove.
Halifax is the major city of the maritme provnces, with a population of about 120 000 people. It is located on one of the largest harbors in the world and was founded in 1749.
The city of Dartmouth, directly across the harbour from Halifax, is where Fisherman's Cove is located. Tomorrow morning Lorne will dip the wheels of the Reo into the Atlantic at Fisherman's Cove and the journey will begin.
