The Findlays and the Reo are now on the east coast. Here are some
highlights of their journey east:
- Lansing, Michigan: The birthplace of the Reo. Lorne and Irene
enjoyed visiting the city. They drove the Reo through town, visiting sites
of significance to the early automotive industry. They even took the Reo
to Ransom E. Olds' gravesite! The president of the Reo owners' club was
their host for these two days.
- Windsor, Ontario: Visiting with long time friends.
- London, Ontario: More old friends and an interview which was
published in the Toronto Star.
- Niagara-On-The-Lake: A meeting with John Nicol, who will be joining
the cross-Canada trip in Halifax, and an enjoyable day at Niagara Falls.
- Massachusetts: a chance to link up with a fellow 1912 Reo owner,
exhange some parts and many stories.
- Vermont and Maine: not enough time to take in so many beautiful
scenic locations.
Next: On to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Ten days to go!
Greetings from Lorne and Irene.
