After many months of planning and packing, everything seems to be ready. The Reo has been loaded on the trailer and Lorne and Irene have set off for the east coast, with numerous stops along the way to visit interested friends and well-wishers.

The 1912 travellers carried greetings from the Anglican church in Halifax to the Anglican church in Vancouver.
Here, the Findlays receive greetings from Dr. Bruce Milne of First Baptist Church, Vancouver, to be delivered to First Baptist Church, Halifax.

Family




After an evening with their children and grandchildren, Lorne and Irene were all set to go. The family presented them with a special journal to record each day's events.
