About The Findlays



Lorne and Irene

Lorne and Irene Findlay have been married for almost 49 years. They have five children and thirteen grandchildren. Lorne has recently retired from a career in the British Columbia transportation sector. Trained as a mechanic, he has owned his own garages, driven and repaired charter buses and trucks, and has also worked with the British Columbia Museum of Transportation. He is an avid collector/restorer of vintage and antique autos and is a long-time member of the Vintage Car Club of Canada as well as the Horseless Carriage Club of America.





Peter




Peter Findlay is the third child of Lorne and Irene Findlay. He lives in Burnaby, B.C., and is married and has three children. He teaches computers and music at General Wolfe School in Vancouver, British Columbia.
